What’s the job?

As a Social Media Account Manager, you’ll be working on our Marketing team to run the social media accounts of our attorney clients:
  • From meeting with our clients via Zoom…
  • To creating and publishing social media content…
  • To measuring and understanding the performance of that content

Qualifications:

Your number one job will be to work closely with our clients: listening to their ideas, getting them to open up about what they do, and translating what is uniquely them into their social media content. You’ll also be monitoring accounts daily and making regular adjustments based on what’s working and what isn’t.
No marketing degree necessary, but we are looking for someone with experience in a client-facing position who can manage multiple tasks at once with attention to detail.

You’re a problem-solver and you know how to troubleshoot.
You’re a strong social media content writer who knows how to work to maintain and improve a brand.
You’re able to quickly switch from one task to the next, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
You’re self-motivated and prefer to work independently.
Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with a Social Media Management Hub (We use Eclincher) is also a plus.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll be doing:

  • Creating compelling social media content for our attorney clients, in their own voice
  • Publishing content to Social Media
  • Daily monitoring of client social media accounts
  • Measuring and understanding the performance of that content: pivoting when things aren’t working and amplifying what IS working
  • Engaging on Social Media on behalf of our clients (i.e. finding opportunities to wingman with other businesses, replying to questions or comments, liking things on behalf of clients, etc.)
  • Liaising with clients via monthly strategy calls and via email/slack
  • Scheduling your own calls with each client, each month, for accounts that you are the primary manager of
  • Interpreting analytics (social media, Google Analytics and Facebook Ads) and generating compelling client reports
  • Troubleshooting Social Media Account access and updating profiles as needed
  • Assisting in managing and upholding online reputations on behalf of our clients
  • Seeking out and pitching our clients for new PR opportunities

You’ll be part of the Conversations Digital Marketing Team and your direct supervisor will be our Marketing Brand Manager.
The full team meets weekly on Tuesdays and the Marketing team meets weekly on Wednesdays.
You are accountable for having your own quiet, uninterrupted workspace and a fast internet connection.

Starting salary:
$40,000 with a minimum 5% annual raise
Benefits:

Full Health Insurance (eligible after 6 months of employment) and 3% matched IRA (eligible after 1 year of employment). Work remotely from anywhere in the world (must be available during standard business hours of one of the 4 U.S. time zones). 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 personal days off per year, and an additional 2 weeks off at the end of each year for the holidays to total 1 month and 1 week of paid time off per year. Annual bonuses based on company profit + individual performance.
